HC control panel PS-440 used to control the Honeywell KHF-1050 HF system.

TIMAT developed the PS-440 as sub-contractor to Aeromaoz company for Honeywell Aerospace.

TIMAT performed the hardware and software development under - RTCA/DO-254 DAL-C , RTCA/DO-178C DAL-C  , Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware

Aeromaoz company holds TSO-170 Design Approval for the PS-440 HF Controller from the CAAI and FAA, all certification process carried out under the leadership of the TIAMAT company.

The KHF-1050 HF system includes the following LRUs: 

•    KRX-1053 receiver/exciter.
•    KPA-1052 power amplifier
•    KAC-1052 antenna coupler
•    HC control panel PS-440

System Functions:

•     Control KHF-1050 HF system via ARINC-429 communication.
•   Internal build in test (PBIT, CBIT, IBIT).
•    Digital volume control.
•   LCD display support via SPI communication.
•   Dual Digital encoder rotary switch.
•   NVRAM memory for programmable channels
•   Embedded MCU
•   Internal Power supply
